While serving as a managing principal at E4H and later in private practice, Charles Calcagni worked as the planner and Lab designer with E4H, Northwell Health and Lenox Hill Hospital on a project to extend Northwell’s IVF practice from Manhasset to New York City. The Northwell NYC REI clinic is one of the most advanced projects of its kind, designed using materials with minimal VOCs and highly filtered air helping to create its high success rates. Located at the Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital on 64th Street in Manhattan, the first-floor ambulatory clinic encompasses 4,405 SF and includes endocrinology, phlebotomy, exam rooms, counseling rooms, nurse/ MD & staff offices, and waiting & reception areas. The Procedure and Laboratory functions are located in a previous patient bed suite on the sixth floor and is 7,016 SF. The program includes andrology, collection rooms, cryo, embryology, transfer, retrieval, recovery, and patient & staff lockers.
